As we finish up year two of the pandemic two things have been consistent: change and uncertainty. Both can be difficult for us to manage and maneuver, especially when
you add all the responsibilities and every day tasks we must carry out to survive. Uncertainty can feel dark and hopeless especially when your current reality is uncomfortable and difficult. Change in the midst of uncertainty can feel overwhelming and out of control. Which can leave you feeling confused and powerless. Needless to say if you’re experiencing uncertainty and change (hint: we all currently are to some degree) then gaining some inner clarity and guidance will make a world of difference. As a byproduct, it will also renew your faith in yourself and your process. So how can you do this? I have created some writing prompts for you to ponder and gain direction.
*Before you answer these questions, create a safe space where you'll be uninterrupted. Take a few deep breaths to center yourself and open your heart to your truth. Answer the questions without correcting yourself or editing what you write.
What major challenge are you facing currently in your life? What changes and uncertainty are coming up for you? What is being asked of you to make it through this challenge? What is this challenge teaching you? What daily practice can you incorporate to strengthen your faith in yourself and your process? How can you show yourself love and kindness through it all?
There is no quick fix for what we are currently experiencing. I know it can get painful and heavy but we’re moving in a direction where a higher version of ourselves is being called forth. The process of leveling up into our higher selves is never easy and very turbulent. At the end of the day you have two choices: rise up to the occasion and bring forth your authentic self or get caught up in the chaos and loose yourself in the process. Whichever you choose there is no wrong choice, there are only lessons to learn and life paths to travel.
Wishing you all the best on your healing journey.
Peace and Love, Yesenia
